Using 'Next' and 'Previous' button on quiz slides

Jan 20, 2021

I know how to hide the next button when the slide commences, but how do I show it when the question is answered correctly? The learner must complet the question before moving on so it must only show once they get it right.

I want it on the slide for when the learner wants to revisit then move forward instead of using the menu.

Hi, Susan,

If you set a question slide to "Resume saved state" when revisiting, Storyline will automatically show the PREV and NEXT buttons when the user revisits the slide. The user will see the question and their answer, but they won't be able to change the answer.

Notice that the above settings don't have checkmarks for the PREV and NEXT buttons. That's because you don't want them to show the first time the user visits the slide (when they have to answer the question and SUBMIT it). But the built-in functionality will show the PREV and NEXT buttons when the user revisits the slide.
