Hello , can anyone help or make a suggestion please? I am creating a storyline which at the end i would like my learners to free text their answers. i have followed the tutorial where you disguise the fill in the blanks with a pick one quiz question. I have taken off the multiple attempts so you can only get it right or wrong. The problem i have is that if you enter everything correctly, happy days, the feedback is you are right! but if you get any element wrong, it says 'it is invalid, you must complete the question' instead of 'it is incorrect' Does anyone know what i have done wrong
Thanks Hazel

Hi Hazel
you are not making any mistake because it's a message you see by default. If you like to modify it, you have to click on the player and click on the text labels afterwards. You will find the custom text of invalid answer. All you have to do is to modify it as you like.
Correct me if i got your question wrong.
Regards
hello Thanks fro your help, but i don't think that's the problem. If i have said that learners can only have one or 2 attempts, whatever the feedback, it should'nt allow continuous tries. hmmm. i 've had a look at of the other posts here but i have the order of submission in the right order, with pick one at the bottom. Do you think its to do with my variables? as i created them by using originally the free text quiz slide so they have appeared as 'text'. i have a few fields which are numbers not text but the variable is greyed out to text so i cant change them to numbers
it is possible that variables have to do something with that. Can you share your story file so that we can have a close look at it?
I've attached one of the test slides I have created. Thank you for your help, much appreciated
