For my project I have figured out how to click the next button in the seekbar and it goes to the next slide but when I set the previous button, it does not start the slide over again but rather jumps to the previous layer. I was hoping I could get some feedback on how to do this. I have uploaded my presentation so any help would be greatly appreciated!
If you change the properties to allow "seeking" on the layers, then the user will be able to jump back to the previous slide instead of the layer. The seeking on the layer is keeping the user on that particular layer as it's still playing through the timeline with nothing to hide it.
It's still not working. I have hidden the next/back buttons and created my own buttons and triggers but when I get to layer 2, I want to be able to replay the slide from the beginning (from the base layer). Do you have any other suggestions?
Sorry it looks like I wrote "allow" but I meant, change it to not allow seeking on the layers. This is the only way that the user could jump back to the beginning of the base layer. I made that change on both layer 1 and 2 and made sure that they were all set to "reset to initial state" and that did bring me back to the start of the base layer.
