Using Storyline 2 for non-elearning projects

Jan 27, 2016

I've used Storyline 2 to prototype a couple of web applications that someone else then built in SharePoint. I've also used it to create an interactive demo of our solutions, with self-directed navigation, that could be presented to the client, and also provided to them as a take away.

Developing in Storyline is faster and easier than Flash, and while not as powerful as far as animations, for what I need to do it's perfect. I need to look more into Adobe Edge, but I was wondering if there are others out there developing non-elearning projects with Storyline - what types of projects are you using it for? I'm also curious to know what other tools people use to create interactive projects?

Hi, Sandra -- Thanks for your question! I will defer to the community to weigh in with their ideas and suggestions for using SL2 for beyond e-learning and course construction, but I thought you might also want to take a look at this rather robust thread, People's Feedback on Articulate Storyline 2

And in order to increase the exposure for your question, you may also want to consider posting over in our Building Better Courses forum, as well. :)
