Using the Same Question in Multiple Result Slides

Mar 25, 2022

I would like to have a course with multiple knowledge check questions that have 1 attempt with no reset option, 5 case studies (each one has 6 questions) in which the learner can reset each case study as they take it if they do not achieve an 80% or higher, but the points accumulated from the knowledge check questions and the 5 case studies are averaged to compute a final course grade where passing is 80% or higher. There is new content introduced between each case study and each section of knowledge check questions. Can this be done by assigning the course questions to more than one results slide in Articulate Storyline 360?

TIA!

Hello Kelly!

Thanks for sharing these details of your course setup! I understand that you have multiple case studies and are looking for the learner to answer questions after viewing the case studies. It sounds like you want the score to show gradually. For example, the first Results Slide will show the results of the first case study but the second Results Slide will show the results of the first and second case study. To achieve this, I would include a Results Slide after each case study that tracks all of the questions included in that case study as well as the previous. If you are uploading the course to an LMS, then make sure to include one final Results Slide that tracks all of the questions. Lastly, select that final Results Slide to be the one that reports to the LMS.

Please let me know if you have any questions! I hope other community members will share if they've achieved something similar and their tips and tricks!
