Using user input and Javascript to determine what the next slide will be
Nov 26, 2019
Hey, all.
I have attached a project I'm working on where we allow the user which content they want to prioritize first, shifting the order of what slides they will see.
Right now, what I have works, but the full project could have over 60 items for the user to prioritize (don't ask). While I could do it with this system, it would require quite the labyrinth of triggers on every slide, and I was wondering if there wasn't a simpler way using Javascript. That way, I can just have one "Execute Javascript" on each slide that would do the checking instead.
Basically, is there a way for Javascript to move the user to a specific slide? I've tried to do some digging around the site, but I haven't seen anything that really lines up with what I'm doing.
Any tips for this (other than "don't do 60 of them") would be appreciated.

You could use a numeric project variable and trigger that jumps these slides to a single slide (e.g. patchboard) that contains a long list of Jump To Slide conditional triggers keyed to the value of the variable. Organizes the jump logic to a single, albeit long trigger list filled slide
That's actually a pretty good idea. Thank you for answering!
