Is it possible to validate text entry fields based on character count? I have slides with 5 text entry boxes per slide. The triggers for each TEB are set value when control loses focus and add 1 to another variable (slideCount).
In this context, the user entered values can be anything, I just need to check to make sure that they entered something into each box. Is it possible to check based on character counts? I was thinking that each box has to have a minimum of 3 characters before the value of slideCount can increase.
You need a little Javascript to do it. I added a variable called TextLength, the Javascript gets the length of the string and returns the value to TextLength, and then the SlideCount variable gets incremented on the condition that TextLength is 3 or greater.
