Variable in Publishing problem

Hi,

I'm stunned here... My variable works when I preview it in a single slide, but when I preview the whole project, it doesn't work.

I have a simple behavior; bunch of buttons on a slide and it's programmed so that everytime a button is clicked, it adds one to the variable. I've added a textbox with the variable's name (%btnNext_R1%) to validate that it adds-up properly and like I already wrote, it works when I preview it as a single slide but not in the whole project.

Any ideas what could be causing this?
