I am having trouble getting variables to work at the end of a scene. At the start of the final slide timeline I want to have a 'checkmark' image appear on my home page when a scene is complete. I have tried using true/false variables - the variable changes fine(checked by using a reference box) but the trigger attached to the variable does not work.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Or suggest a better way to do this?
It may be easier for us to provide some suggestions if we can see what you're working with. Are you able to post the .STORY file for the project here? Just keep in mind that if the project is too large, it may not upload.
If it doesn't upload, are you able to provide some screenshots of the variables and triggers you're using? It might also help to share the settings you're using for revisiting as well.

Hi there Pepe and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

Thanks and welcome again!
If it is on the next button check the order it must be before the jump to trigger
Thanks Christine and Phil,
These forums are so helpful.
I managed to get this to work by creating an additional condition - it's messy but it works and that's the main thing!
The 2 screenshots show what I've done but basically...
Last slide in scene:
- variable changes to 'complete' on start of timeline
Home Page:
-checkmark changes state to normal when a different object is normal (one that never changes state) AND variable text is 'complete'
Awesome, Pepe! :)
Thanks very much for keeping us updated and sharing your solution.
I hope you have a great day and a happy new year!
Christine
