Without seeing the slide in question, it is a little hard to understand the context you using the T/F variable in. You need to have an action or event that changes it from one to the other, so assuming that you have this, you can add the following trigger:
Action: Show layer
Layer: [LAYER NAME]
When: Variable changes
Variable: [VARIABLE NAME]
On condition that [VARIABLE NAME] is equal to [the opposite of the default value]

Let me share the scene in question. I am setting this as a role based course and the slides will have the user select the course then open the correct layer to the lessons listed by his/her role.
I am trying it with a "when timeline starts" trigger and moving them up to the beginning of all the other triggers on the main screen. I hope this works.

Thanks for the response. That is actually how i did it but I think i put the Trigger on the layer instead of the main slide. Is that the issue?
The variable must change on that slide for that trigger to work
or you need to do a when timeline starts trigger.
