Variables and triggers deactivated once slide is revisited

Hi,
I've made an eLearning course that is information based and no assessed quiz, however there is small questions to answer throughout the course that are not marked.
They have to get the questions correct to be able to select the next button - so on the drag and drop questions this works really well that all answers need to be dragged on the correct response to be able to move on. However when revisiting the slide the variables and triggers that make this work - just don't work anymore. Therefor making the next button stay inactivated.
If any body could shed some light on this it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Alex! Have you gone into the slide properties and set the When Revisiting option to Resume Saved State? I would try this first.
Hi Vince,
Thanks for the reply! Yes I did try this and unfortunately had no luck! I have settled it by adding a trigger that changes the variable to false when the timeline starts! So finger crossed this works!
All the best!
Hi Alex,
It sounds like you may have run into a known issue with the next button remaining in the disabled/hidden state on a revisit to the slide if you're changing it based on the visited state of other elements on your slide, and the recommended workaround is to use a variable as you have determined.
If you'd like to share your file I can confirm it's the same behavior and add it to the report with our QA team.
Hi Alex
Here is an example using the variables to enable/disable the next button for a simple drag and drop interaction
I have included an "adjust variable" on the correct feedback response layer to change the variable to true
As a side the drag and drop interaction cannot be re-attempted when returning to the slide after it has been submitted
