Variables

Aug 08, 2019

Trying to do the following using examples you have sent me before using true/false variables.

1. Jump from slide 1.3 layer EXIT by clicking the arrow to slide 1.1 and SHOWING the hidden rectangle ONLY when they click that arrow

2. show the visited state on the arrows on 1.1

Kristen, you were almost there. Here's what I changed.

  1. The trigger to update the value of test to be before the jump.  Triggers are evaluated in order so you were never getting to the update.
  2. Change the test variable to have a default value of false.
  3. Recreated the trigger for showing the hidden rectangle to fire on timeline start if test is equal to true. The 1.1 slide never sees the change to the test variable.

ok I think I found everything I want buttttt

Now my hidden rectangle is STAYING on normal instead of using the exit animation like it's told.  i dont want to change the base "when revisiting:... I want it to stay saved so that way the arrows turn dark.  Does that make sense?  Everything else works now
