In the attachment, you'll see that I am taking users three periods of time and I want them to be viewed in order. I also want to insert a message, if they click the other two time periods ahead of time.
see if the attached works for you. I duplicated your slide, set each button to initial state of disabled in the States tab > Edit states. I created 3 T/F variables one for each button.
Set trigger to change state of first button to normal when media completes (your audio file) and the variable also changes to True for 1840.
Set trigger to change state of second button to normal when variable 1840 changes to True.
Set trigger to change state of third button to normal when variable presentDay changes to True.
The way it is set up the user must do in order and you don't need the 'hint' to tell them.
