Variables for a question

Mar 20, 2019

Good Morning,

In Storyline 2, I tried to do a question with variables because I want to put some labels in several boxes (12/01, green and red smileys). I decided also to put wrong labels (2, 15/04, cut at the workstation and red smileys)... Unfortunately, my parameters didn't work and I checked a lot of time without finding the solutions and beeing successfull.

Thanks a lot for your help and explanations.

Regards.

Thanks for sharing your file, Fabienne! I'm happy to help you sort this out.

First, you'll want to add the Correct and Incorrect rectangles into Form View. Select Correct as the correct answer.

Next, add one more trigger to change the state of the Incorrect rectangle to Selected. Be sure to set the conditions to match the incorrect answers.

Give it a go, and let me know if you need extra help along the way!

Good Morning Alyssa,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I modified some parameters in my slide but now when I put wrong things, I
was successfull.

I checked my paramleters but I think I didn't understand something but I do
not know what ...

How to do parameters correctly for the labels which are not at all in some
boxes (as they are anyway wrong answers ... -;) )

Sorry for bothering you... and thanks a lot for your help.

Regards.

Hey Fabienne! No bother -- we want you to feel successful. :)

Can you help me and attach a screenshot of what the correct form should look like? I'd like to see where each of the correct labels goes so we can explain better how to set this up. When you attach it, please be sure to reply in the discussion and not through email (attachments don't work in email replies). Thanks!

Good Afternoon Alyssa,

Hoep you are fine and your wk great.

I better understood your parameters but

how to use also the labels which are wrong (labels eti21 1 for 2 ; etid41 1 for 15/04 ; ris21 1 for cut at workstation ; smiley red 3.1 and smiley red 4.1) ? the learner should be able to drag and drop them in boxes but he will not know that it is wrong -;)

Do I need to create a new trigger for each of one which is equal to false when it is drag and drop in all the boxes ?

Thanks a lot for your feedbacks.

Regards.
