Can anyone let me know if there is such a list of specific variables or triggers that won't work on iPAD (say when the content is played in HTML5), please?
I have created many lessons and they work perfectly on the standard browsers, but they don't work on iPAD. Some with basic triggers do work, but it seems to me that those with variables won't.
There is a comparison chart here about how Storyline works within HTML5 and the Articulate Mobile Player. I haven't heard anything about variables not working within an iPad deployment, but if you'd like our team to test it, you can share a copy of your .story file here.
Hi Nai - I created a course recently that had to run on html5. Most of the triggers and variables worked as expected except for ones that were using conditions. These did not seem to work. I had to do some redesign of my project to achieve the results I wanted because the triggers would not work.
Thank you Ashley and Nancy. I've finally found the exact list of what should and should no work on HTML5, which is good. Though I feel some items that are said to work, don't actually work properly.
I guess I will need to do what you had endure too, Nancy - redesigning those already made projects :~(. I wish this list of comparison were to be found more easily. It should have been made obvious since the time the trial application is downloaded. It would be efficient to know BEFORE we started using the application or creating the projects.

By the way, for anyone who is experiencing this same frustration: here is the list: http://www.articulate.com/support/storyline/comparing-storylines-flash-html5-and-articulate-mobile-player-output

Thanks Nai, I thought I had linked the comparison chart in my first post. Whoops! Thanks for sharing it here for everyone!
I agree with you on this one.
