Hi, you can create a trigger that sets the variable to it's default value when the timeline starts. Just make sure it's at the top of the list of triggers for that variable so the first thing it does to the variable is to reset it to it's initial state.
You can set up the trigger on the first slide of the scene - so one trigger per scene that resets the variable at the start of the scene.
Or you can create the same variables, but with different names, so each scene has it's own variables. But if you have already built the project and just want to reset the variables at the start of each scene, then the first option will work fine.
Hi, if it's the same variable you can copy it from one scene to another, but you'll need it at the start of each scene if you want the variable reset. Sounds like a lot of work!

Can this be done just on specific scenes? I also have over 100 triggers to reset so it'll take forever to reset them all manually.

how do i create this trigger? thank you for your help so far
Hi, I've attached a quick video of the process, using two different types of variables - a number variable and a true/false variable.
Hiya!! Thanks for this - Do I have to do this for every single variable though? I have over 100 I'd like to reset?
Thanks!

You could create the triggers on a layout in the master slide. Apply that layout the the slide where you want the variables reset.
That's a great idea.
Hi Noel, good video demo - Isobelle you'd need to move those to the top of the trigger order so they execute before any other triggers.
