Variables related problems in quiz

Hello all,

While creating a course i encounterd some difficulties regarding varibales that seem to work only for 50%. I reviewed all settings, triggers and varbiables over and over but can't figure it out. I decided to ask for help.

In a complete story file i created a relative simple scene. The flowchart of the scene looks like this:

First an introduction slide, on second level a slide in which I created hyperlinks to the questions on the lowest level. In total 12 questions.

In this scene I want the student to have full freedom in which order he views the questions. If you can't answer the question he can go to the other scene where he can find the learning content presented. To do this I build the following scene with the following variables and triggers.

Inside the slide with all questions I placed empty square shapes in front of the question. When the student presses on the question it directly goes to the corressponding question. For instance, when he clicks on question 6, he will be directed to slide "Q6".

Every question slide (Q1 to Q12) is a graded question which are all linked to one graded result slide. I stripped the standard next, prev and submit buttons. I created on the question slide a button to go back to the questions slide and a submit button. 

When all question slides were made I added 12 true/false variables and named them Q1, Q2, Q3 (...) Q12. I set all variables to "false" as initial value.

I went back to each question and set the following triggers for each submit button:

1. Submit results for question when users clicks

2. Set variable Q6 to TRUE when users clicks

3. Go to slide QUESTIONS when users clicks

When this was done I created a new state called "Green" to every square shape in front of the questions. I gave them the following trigger:

"Change state of Square 6 to "Green" when timeline starts. IF Q6 is equal to TRUE"

I added a layer to the Questions slide called "result button". In this layer I placed a button with the trigger to go to the result slide. In the base layer of the Questions slide i created the following trigger: 

"Show layer "Result' when timeline starts IF Q1 = True, Q2 = True, Q3 = True (...) Q12= True.

Slide settings i created the following:

Questions slide:  Reset to initial state

Q1 to Q12 slide: Resume saved state

So when the student checks all the questions and hits the submit button of a question it will be directed to questions slide and sees a green square in front of the question he submitted. When all squares are green (all variables to TRUE) a button with "Result" will pop up and the student can check his results.

When everything was complete I wanted to test the scene. The strange thing it only worked for question 7 to 12. Question 1 to 6 didn't change the varibale and thus not changing the square (which supposed to turn green). So it only working for 50%... 

I checked all setting, all triggers, all variables.. But couldn't find anything what wasn't in order..

What am I missing, what could i do different? Why isn't it working?
