Variables showing Complete

Jul 07, 2015

I seem to really struggle with variables and showing complete state.  On the slide where I list the Menu, I want to show the "complete" state when the user clicks on it and goes to the appropriate slide and then comes back to the menu.  I had it at one point for the Goods slide but couldn't seem to make it work for the others.  Then I was messing around with it and then the Goods slide wasn't working.  Please help.

THANK YOU!  You are my life saver !

So the main focus was on the 1.4 Menu timeline starts.  So when it comes back to Menu, that is where the timeline starts and is then set to change to Complete state.

Also a trigger was required on the each slide that was displayed to show Completed as True when the user clicks the Menu button.

Does the above make sense of what you did and what I was supposed to do?

For some reason, when I open the menu slide, two of the items show "Complete" even before I go to the content slides.  I have compared it over and over to your copy you posted above, Michael and I just can't see the problem.  Please help.

Is it possible that you uploaded the wrong file? The triggers on the menu in this file look very different from my example. I don't see two menu items being shown as complete right away. I did notice though that the Completed2 and Completed3 variables have a default value of True, they should initially be False.

Once again, Michael, you're a genius.  The problem was in the variables 2 and 3 so I changed it to False and it worked.  Not sure about the version of the file I attached but you nailed the problem!  You're amazing.

I find there is so much to remember to do to make things work right.  I am confident that I will get better at this.

Thanks !!!!!!
