Varying Variables
Oct 26, 2015
Hello,
I am trying to create a slide where by students have to enter answers in multiple numeric entry boxes. If they get the correct answer a tick appears (hidden to normal state). I wanted to be able to add these ticks up so that the student could get a total mark for that slide. So I tried the following:
Add (variable x) to "total" when the state of "tick" is normal.
The problem I have is that it works for some ticks and not others, I have no idea why, the triggers are exactly the same, the text boxes with the ticks are exactly the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rebecca
can you upload the slide
Thanks so much, I hope you can help, this slide is by no means complete,
I have provided some of the answers below so you can see what I mean
1.31 +/-0.03
1.36 +/-0.03
58.72 +/-2.52
66.41+/-3.52
1.09 +/- 0.01
1.08 +/- 0.01
Hi Rebecca Forder
I had got the answer, but don't know whether it is correct way or not, but my suggestion is if you delete the tick mark and duplicate from another and again if you give triggers to tick mark then it works fine.
