Vertical SLiders

Hello Heroes,
I have sifted through the forums but wasn't able to find an answer to my dilemma. I am trying to add a vertical slider with different objects that come on as it moves up, like a vertical timeline. The trouble is that even if the states look exactly like what I have in mind, when I preview the lesson, the objects default to different places on the screen.
Is there a way to work with vertical sliders that I am not aware of in Storyline 2?

There is no magic to creating vertical sliders, see some examples here: http://dev.keypointlearn.com/xcl73_SL2/Sliders/V1/story.html Can you share your .story file here so that we can have a look?

I would use a separate object to display as the slider value changes. See attached my file with the first two positions 'fixed'. Hope that helps.
