Go to the Insert tab. Click the Video drop-down arrow and select Video from Website. Paste the YouTube embed code into the box, and click the Insert button.
I did this but I had an error code when I inserted the embed code. I can insert the address in powerpoint using developer but I need to manipulate the address. This is the You Tube embed code
Hey there all. Mohan, thanks for sharing that link, but there have been some changes since that article was posted. As of May 2015, Google no longer allows YouTube videos to be embedded using the "insert video from a website" method. However, YouTube videos in existing courses will continue to work.

hmmm, it seems the traditional method above isn't working. sorry about that.
You can also insert a WebObject and paste in the actual URL there. test it in Firefox or up on your server to see the link work.

I see you emailed an image, but email attachments don't post to the forum. Hoped the second method worked.
It didn't work because I need to go directly to the video. Thanks!
This method does go directly to video. Here's a sample, but you'll have to test it in Firefox or your server to see it work.
Hi Renee,
You may want to review the information here about the YouTube API and the embed code.

You can still add YouTube videos to new projects using web objects, and they'll work in Flash, HTML5, and Articulate Mobile Player output.
