I am having a problem when viewing my articulate project on an Ipad. I have a base layer with several slide layers containing youtube video's which I added as a webobject.
The problem is that the audio of the video continues playing after closing the slide layer.
This problem only occurs on my ipad, and not in my PC. I published the file for HTML5, without the Articulate Mobile Player option.
Thank you for your reply, you can find an example of the file in the attachment.
When you click on 'Mentimeter' for example you will go to the slide layer. The problem with the audio occurs if you are closing the slide layer before the video has ended.
Thank you for sharing and allowing me to take a look Anna! I am able to replicate the behavior that you are sharing. It appears that this issue has been reported to our QA Team and they are investigating. I will add this for user awareness and so that I can provide an update when applicable. Unfortunately, we are not aware of a workaround outside of embedding vs adding as a web object.
this is still an issue with both web object and video from web option, it used to work with no issues :-( trying to finish off a project this evening but it seems to be doomed with crashes when packaging and now this.....grrrrr!!
Hello Kim - Thanks for following up with us. Nothing new yet. It is definitely helpful to understand how many folks are experiencing this bug and how often they encounter it though, so I'll be sure to share in order to assist in our prioritization efforts.
Thanks Leslie - if you could prioritize this that would be great as I am doing a lot of these types of modules at present, as I am sure many people are. :-)

Hi Anna! Would you be able to share your .story file for us to take a look?

That's a pity, I'll wait for the update. Thank you very much for your help so far!

Hi Clare!
This particular issue is in the hands of our QA Team and I do not have an update to provide.
In regards to your crashing in your file...sounds like you are just having issues in the one file you are working on? Not across files?
If just the one file, I'd recommend importing into a new file to see if this alleviates some of the issue you are seeing.
If it's across files, you may want to consider the repair detailed in this article.
Hi, Just checking if a work around or update has been found for this issue yet?
Hi,
Maybe you try to pause the media/ timeline of that media before closing the layer.
The trigger of hiding the layer must be after the pause media/timeline trigger.

Thanks Rex,
That works for media inserted into the storyline file, but I have not been able to work out a trigger that can pause web objects unfortunately.
Thanks Leslie - if you could prioritize this that would be great as I am doing a lot of these types of modules at present, as I am sure many people are. :-)
