I have an elearning course which has several videos throughout that are required watching. Each varies in length so I was wondering if it were possible to allow the audience to view each videos timeline without allowing the ability to scrub forward or backwards through the video?
I feel like we used to able to show the timeline / video controls but have them "un-clickable", but I can't seem to find that option in SL3 or 360.
I think the best option at the moment is to show the video controls, but place a transparent shape over the scrub bar to stop learners from being able to skip ahead. I think that will do what you need?

Hi Peter
not sure if you are talking about a video in Storyline or a web object.
Morning Peter,

Hi Peter!
I love that people are stepping in to help!
I wanted to share a quick way to do this! In the player settings, you can change the seek bar to be read-only, which means no scrubbing.
Here is what that looks like:
Hello Wendy.
It's an actual video within storyline. Thank you for reaching out.

Hey Jen.
GREAT idea. I'm just logging into the course now but from the sounds of your thought process... This should work perfectly.
Thank you!
Pete
Ahh-ha! There we go. So it is still possible to make the adjustment through SL controls.
Perfecto!
Thank you Lauren.
