I am using Storyline 3 and have inserted mp4 videos into my project. The video controls work when I publish to the web but not when I publish to the Articulate Online LMS. Is there a setting that I need to adjust?
There is a solution for this issue??? the video controls bar is not working to move around the video, only works for pause o resume (rise and storyline 360). Seekbar player does not work either.
I'm sorry to hear you're running into this issue! Since you're using Storyline 360, it sounds like your issue may be different from what other users are experiencing in this discussion.
We have a separate issue in Storyline 360 Update 37, where the user is unable to scrub the built-in video controls and are actively working on a fix for that. We'll be sure to jump in here when we have any news to share!
I'm still experiencing this issue when I publish a Review 360 version of my module. I've read through all of the above posts and I'm experiencing the same thing. When clicking or dragging on the seekbar or video controls it restarts the video.
Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like after publishing to Review 360, the video restarts when clicking on either the seekbar or the video controls. I’m happy to help find what might be getting in the way here.
Let's start with some questions so I can better understand:
Is this happening with all of the videos in your course, or is it a specific slide with a video on it?
Have you tried testing the Review 360 link in another browser to see if that makes a difference?
I'll stay tuned for more info so we can continue troubleshooting together!
It actually initially worked and then stopped working after that.
My team also has a Vimeo account so our solution is to send a Vimeo review link, but it is not ideal to send one link for the module and another one for the video in the module. I published the review link and tested it 6 or 7 times before I gave up and uploaded the video in Vimeo instead.
Thanks for the follow-up! My colleague Katie shared above that our team fixed this bug a year ago, but it sounds like it may have returned. I'd like to have our support engineers take a look at your file to confirm this.
Are you able to share it using this link here? From here, they'll do some testing and get back to you with further guidance as soon as possible!

Hello, Patricio!
A hotfix for Storyline 360 is ready, and it addresses the issue where learners couldn't click or drag the seekbar on the built-in video controls!
You can explore the release notes here, and download the latest update with these steps. Thanks for helping us make this improvement!
Thank you guys!!
Hi, Just wondering if there is any update on this issue. I am experiencing the same in Chrome and IE is not an option for us. Thanks
Hi Stephanie!
We did release the fix for this issue in Storyline 360. We are currently on Storyline 360 Update 39 (Build 3.39.22088.0).
If you are still seeing this snag, it's best to connect with our Support Engineers for in-depth troubleshooting.

Hi Becca,
I have tested it on both Chrome and Edge.
It actually initially worked and then stopped working after that.

It'd be great to get this working.
