Video File Compression: Articulate Storyline 360

I have noticed after my Articulate Storyline 360 update, when publishing a course with video content (in mp4 format), Storyline no longer compresses the video to make it smaller. In fact in my case the video file size increased from 80MB to over 200MB. Is that normal? Anyone with the same experience?

Thank you for reaching out! 

That is odd behavior and Storyline shouldn't be increasing the video's file size. A couple of questions for you on this: 

  • What were the compression settings on your video? 
  • When working on projects, are you working from a network drive? 

What may help is to run a repair of Storyline to see if that clears up the issue. You can find more details on this here:
