Video Files in Articulate

Hello all,
I have some files that contain .mov video files. When the user goes through the e-learning they are able to move the seekbar associated with the .mov file and skip the video. I know in Articulate there is a way to adjust the player seekbar to "view only", but when I insert a .mov file it gives the video it's own seekbar. When I go into edit the video that seekbar isn't there but it is when I preview the project.
Is there a setting where I can remove the seekbar on the video itself? Or do I need to convert the video to a different format? I know how to add and remove the seekbar in the player and change those settings, but I want to remove the additional one that is added to the .mov files.

The 'low tech' way to prevent people from skipping ahead in a video is to place a transparent shape over the vid's seekbar.
Thank you so much Michael, that was so much easier than what I was trying to do and it worked just fine. Awesome!
