Video Format Error in HTML5

I have embedded a youTube video. It plays with flash player - story.html but with html5 I get the error

'Video format or mime type not supported'

Any suggestions as to the cause of this error?

Hi Niall, 

When you need to access the course using the HTML5 output, you'll need to use the web object mentioned as described here.  Also, you mentioned two browser, can you confirm you're testing the HTML5 version in these supported browsers:

  • Google Chrome 14 or later on Windows or Mac
  • Safari 5.1 or later on Windows or Mac
  • Mobile Safari in Apple iOS 5.0 or later on iPad

Since you mentioned the mime type, you may also want to review the troubleshooting steps outlined here and mime type is mentioned at the bottom.
