Video import size not correct?

When I import a video it's showing the original size as something totally different than what it really is. It resizes the 'original size' to what fits in my course.

My intent is to import a video clip at double the size and then reduce it by 50%. This way the video looks sharper, especially if there is text in it. I used to be able to import at double the size, but now Storyline is resizing it and not accurately showing the original size as well.

As a workaround, I doubled the size of my project dimensions, import the video at the original size, and then resize my course by 50%.  

Any ideas? Did Storyline change something?
