Video in a SCORM environment
Jun 25, 2012
I want to publish a course that has regular slides, branching scenarios, as well we video. In a SCORM lms, what video type would I use to ensure the video 1.) will play when the course is published and 2.) will play on mobile and desktop with the LMS?
I will NOT be using the Articulate Mobile Player, as the app and login requirements cause a disconnect. Therefore, I will be publishing to LMS and only for HTML5.
Any suggestions on how to make this process seamless?
Has anyone run into any limitations or known errors so I can prepare my expectations.
Thanks

Storyline converts whatever video format you use to MP4 when you publish the project so to ensure that the video plays the web server you are using to host your course must have the mp4 mime type installed.
This applied for both SCORM and non-SCORM environments then?
Yes. It is the same for both.
