Video Locking

Dec 23, 2013

Hello all,

In conducting our final audits of a recent course we built, I noticed that even when player controls are toggled off for videos, it's still possible to pause a video by clicking on it in published mode.

Is there a way to disable that feature other than placing a transparent rectangle on top of the video?

Hi Blaine and welcome to E-Learning Heroes,

The transparent object really is a great time-saver and a good way to keep learners from clicking on the video itself.

What type/format of video are you using? There may be other options, but again, the quickest would be to place something over the video.

Thanks, welcome again and happy holidays!
