I'm wondering if there is a way to create looping video that loops every few seconds but when the user clicks opens the video in full and then when the close the video goes back to the main page?
I've created an example page (non-interactive) of how I would like the layout to look. Doing this would allow me to use the interactive pages as a wrapper for video content...
I would create the loop as a separate clip, then attach a trigger to it to play that piece of media again when it ends. Then, you could put a hot spot trigger over it to lightbox the full size video in.
I'm not quite sure how the looping would fit into your navigation scheme (do you really want all nine videos on your 'selector' slide playing and looping at the same time?) but a 'loop' effect could be achieved by adding a trigger to the video, that plays the media (video) when the media (video) completes.
The fullsize version of each video could be sitting on a layer (or a separate slide) that is displayed when the video on the baselayer is clicked.
I would try to create an animated .gif from each of your movies and place those in your launch slide. The .gif animations would then play without any special coding and you can use the .gif image to link/launch the associated films however you want to.
Thanks for all the replies. Michael - Yes, I do want to create as such - I havea bunch of short Camtasia Movies that I want to embed into a training tutorial, much like a wrapper, so that the learner does not need to go somewhere else toview them. I'm going to give what you showed a short - Thanks much!
Stephen and Owen - Thanks much for the additional ideas - I'll try them too!
Ashley - Thank you!
