I have a couple of slides in which the MP4 plays automatically at the beginning of the timeline. On a few of these slides the video stutters right at the beginning ("E-Excellent!"). This does not happen in Preview, only Publish. I have tried adding a 1 second delay at the beginning of the timeline, but that didn't fix it.
My next attempt will be to add a .5-1.0 second delay to the video file. Any other suggestions? And why would this be happening?
We were having exactly the same issue ...... however it seemed to appear as a name and title tag appeared on the screen so we embedded the graphic in the video file and it worked a lot better.
Videos in Articulate content progressively download, so learners won't have to wait for them to be downloaded to their computers before playback begins. If you have an MP4 file that doesn't play until it's fully downloaded, see this article for solutions.
If you need us to take a look, please share the .story file here.
This is only happening on a few of the slides, not all of them. And it happens on the same exact slides every single time. So it doesn't seem like a downloading issue.

Does your video have something similar?
Hi Mary!

I'll see about uploading an example.

Sounds great Mary. You may want to try to import into a new file to see if that alleviates the issue that you are having as well.
