I created a module that has a video embedded into it and is to play automatically when you get to the slide. It plays fine in preview mode but when I publish it and send the zip file to our marketing department to place on our intranet, it will not play. It's just a white screen. I have published it as Scorm 1.2, Scorm 2004 3rd Edition, as a web file, as a LMS file and it still will not play.
Christie - we have used the recommended workflow process for sometime now and are very familiar with it. However, the problem we are having now is outside of our LMS. I created an e-Learning in Storyline, included the said video, and published it out as a Web file to be placed on our intranet web page by our webmasters. The module itself works. It's when you get to the one slide where the video is, where is doesn't play.
I don't think the problem is with our server as this specific module was published as a Web file and put on our intranet. It is not playing through our LMS.
You mentioned it "not playing through our LMS" - so I may not be clear on how you're publishing and then hosting and accessing this content. Can you share a bit more information here with us on how you're publishing and the final destination of your published output? If you're placing it on your intranet, what role does your LMS have in this?

Hi, Lesly -- Have you had a chance to review this information on the Recommended Workflow for Collaborative Network Environments?

Hi Lesly,
Have you checked through the information here in regards to videos that aren't working, and ensuring that the intranet supports those mime types?
I think your problem is the server. You need to have them add the mp4 mime type. See Ashley's link.

Hi Lesly,
If you'll be hosting it on your LMS, you'll want to look at publishing for LMS vs. publishing for web as detailed here.
We are hosting this on our INTRANET, not our LMS.
