i have a video in a slide. the user should has the choice to strat the video in the slide or to start the video in a new window. Like a button "open in a new window and start the video"
Opening the video in a new tab or window is a setting that is browser and user specific. You may want to instruct your users to open it in a new tab by clicking the link and using the CTRL key (or Command key on a Mac).

Hi Chris,
Are you inserting the video directly into your Storyline course, or having it as a web object or similar?
Could you create another button that would either:
OR
Hope that helps!
The video is not a link it is directly in SL.
I link to a slide that has a copy of the viedo and changed the properties.
The problem is the property open in new window starts the video just by clicking the user.
any idea?
i can show a video in a new slide or a new webbrowser. any chances for open in a new tab?
best chris
