I see an issue that has been reported to our QA team where if you had clicked somewhere back within the seekbar or video, that once it's done playing the video seekbar appears to jump back to that point. Are you clicking anywhere on the video itself or seekbar to see this behavior?
I won't answer for Chris (obviously) but the consistent behaviour that I find is if you let the video play (regardless if you click anywhere or not), the seek bar jumps back in the way Chris describes. The actual number of seconds seems to be dependent on the length of the video - the longer the video, the great the jump back.

You mentioned "flagging" this before - did you share an example as a part of a case that I could check in on? Was it something shared with our QA team? If you'd like to share an example here Id be happy to take a look.
Chris, you're also welcome to share a .story file here - and likely we'd only need the slide with the video included.
I am fairly sure that I mentioned it as part of another case. I definitely submitted a case to highlight that you can't replay a video once it finishes (although, I have found a workaround for that). I think I *MAY* have also pointed out the jump back issue. If not, i definitely posted about it here.
I was just looking to see if it was a part of a case, and therefore reported to our QA team in regards to how it's jumping back in a random way, not where the user would have clicked (which has been reported to our QA team). I'll keep looking for a case or forum thread, but if you remember where it is, I can follow up on that specific issue. Otherwise, if you have an example you want to share with us again, we're happy to take a look and see how it's behaving in Update 6.
Hi James, You mention that you've found a workaround for the issue with a video not replaying once it has finished. Would you mind sharing your solution? We're experiencing this same issue and haven't found a solution yet.
This thread is a bit older, so you may want to send James a message directly using the "contact me" button on his profile as I'm not certain he's still subscribed to this thread.
Thanks for the heads up. In the meantime, we actually found a solution via another thread that fixes the issue with the video player not fucntioning--if you trim a tiny bit off the end of the video, the video controls then work as expected. This seems to be a glitch in both Storyline 1 and Storyline 2. I've seen several different posts and threads about it, but nowhere does it appear to be listed as a "known issue" by Articulate? Would I need to submit a ticket for it to become one or is there some other process?
Yes, if you can share an example file with this behavior that'll help us determine if it's a bug that you've encountered and report it to our QA team or if there is something else interfering with the file. You're always welcome to share those here in the forums, or send along to our Support engineers here.

I have noticed this too, Chris, and I have flagged it in the past.
I think it is just a bug (or a "quirk"!) that we have to live with.

Thanks, Ashley. To save you trawling through previous cases, I shall submit a new case with a few examples for you.
Thanks James, I really appreciate it. I was off for a few days, so if you've sent it in and have the case number handy I can follow along.
