Video Player issue

Oct 27, 2014

I trimmed a YouTube video to insert into a project to connect to the "story" I am creating. Saved as an MP4. The video plays the entire 2 mins, 17 secs, 26 nanoseconds just fine in Windows Media Player. I imported the trimmed video into a slide and previewed the entire scene the video runs the entire 2 mins, 17 secs, 26 nanoseconds but then the video freezes and the timeline indicates the player head is sitting at 2 minutes and 10 seconds and takes almost 30-45 seconds to automatically jump to the next slide.

I am very good at figuring things out, but this one has me stumped. Any thoughts?

Hi Sandra,

Also in regards to jumping to the next slide, do you have it set up to advance automatically or with a trigger to advance when the timeline ends? How did you add the video file from YouTube? If you've inserted it as a video file, did you look into triggers such as jump to next slide when the media ends?

If you're still having difficulty it may help to take a look at that one slide, and you could attach it here to the forum thread.
