I have recorded a few screen captures including system audio. When I replay them immediately after recording, the audio works. Within the project the video plays without the audio. Each video is on a single slide. The audio will not play in the video editor preview, preview, or in a published file. Any ideas?
Hi Leslie! Thanks for the reply. Yes, I did record the system sounds via Speaker (and re-recorded just to make sure). I inserted the video as a single slide. The audio replays immediately after recording, but not as part of the project.

I took a look at the previous case mentioned here, and it seems that within Angie's case that the recording didn't contain audio and that's what she was looking for. If you insert a screen recording as a step by step recording it won't be included as a part of the screen recording as the audio is stripped out.

Please note: If you decide to insert your screen recording as step-by-step slides, recorded audio won't be used.

Also, you'll want to confirm that when testing the published output you're doing so by uploading to the intended environment vs. testing locally.
