I created a simple project featuring different clips of a video on each slide. The story.html file works as intended using Chrome but not any other browser I tried. The story_html5.html does not work correctly on any browser. "Not working" typically means the .png image I have on the first slide does not display at all, and a white rectangle is displayed instead of the videos although the audio does play.
I also tested your link for the story.html version in Firefox and it worked normally for me there.
The HTML5 output did not open correctly in Chrome for me - elements were missing from the slide as you mentioned and we'd want to take a look at the .story file and confirm that you're publishing with the latest update of Storyline 2 Update 7. Also, just to note that only particular browsers are support for the HTML5 output.
If you're able to upload here in the forums, you'll want to use the "add attachment" button.
