Hello, this is my first post with possibly an easy answer, however I cannot figure it out. I need to record several screenvideo's in resolution 1280 x 650 (as per company requirement). I can simply set this resolution and record the video, however after saving the resolution is changed by Articulate itself to a resolution of 1280 x 656???
Is there a solution to this issue? as now we will need to convert every single video to the correct resolution afterwards.
Just a guess but 656 is a multiple of 8 and as compression usually works on 8x8 pixel blocs, Storyline might have rounded your desired resolution to its working resolution.
I think the size change takes place directly after the video recording is stopped, during the calculating. When I check the storyline directly after, the change is already there (1280x656). (unfortunately I do not manage to get the output which you have managed to create.)
The slides are set to 720x540 (4:3) however this will most probably be adjusted in the next stage by someone else (I only make the video's).
I am working in Storyline 2
I hope you will be able to explain where I am doing something wrong, as I see that you did manage to get a resolution of 1280x650 in your storyline.

Hi Don and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
I recorded a brief video in the same dimensions and those held to my presentation:
Now, that's not the size it is within my project as it will scale to fit based on the Slide Size.
Hello Leslie,
Thanks for your response,

Thanks for the details, Don.
I used Storyline 360 for my example above, and I'm seeing the same thing you are reporting when using Storyline 2.
I'd be happy to report this to my team, but I have a couple of additional questions:
You aren't doing anything wrong; it does seem to be adjusting on its own.
