I have a quick question: Do I need to use Replay to record a screen cast that I want to turn into a simulation, or can I create a simulation using a screen cast made with a different tool and which is imported into Storyline as an mp4? I have a feeling I know what the answer is, but I could be wrong.
Thanks Leslie. These resources seem to apply to recordings made with Articulate software, not mp4 files. I guess I am asking if i can create a simulation from an mp4 file.
I apologize if I misunderstood your question. I was thinking you thought you had to do so outside of Storyline, which you do not. If you record a simulation outside of Storyline, that would be dependent on that software and you would be able to import the mp4 into Storyline if you wished or if it required interactivity, you could insert into your course as a web object.

Hi Jennifer!
You can do many things from within Storyline. I invite you to check out the tutorial here on utilizing screen recordings.

I hope that better answered your question.
