Video Stop on dragging + 3D Transformation

Mar 25, 2014

Hello,

I am new to Storyline, but I already like it! I'm already playing a lot with it and right now I have two questions. It would be great if someone could point me in the right direction with these two.

1) I want to drag and drop a video on a target. To do that, I put a video in a shape and grouped them together. With that I can drag the whole group. But when I start dragging, the video stops. Is there a way not to have this behaviour, so the video plays while its being dragged?

2) Do 3D transformations exist in Articulate Storyline? Let's say I hover or click a shape. Is it possible that this object rotates around the z axis while clicked on?

Thank your very much for your time.

Hi Andre and welcome to Heroes!

The video will stop once clicked on - but you may want to place a transparent shape over the top of the video which would prevent the user from clicking on it - you'll want to group that with the video and the other shape.

I took a look at setting this up within the state of a shape, and there aren't any rotation options. You could make it look like it moved if you used a layer to show a rotated shape instead of relying on the state of an object.
