I have a video in my course that is approximately 16 minutes. It runs fine in the preview, and through HTML after publishing, but when playing in our LMS viewers are reporting the video stopping with about 6 minutes left to play. There is an object that appears at 9 minutes that the user can click to move to a different chapter, but this object appears at least 30 seconds before the video stops playing. Any ideas?
That definitely sounds strange. You mentioned that the video plays all the way through after publishing--did you publish for LMS? What browser did you use to test? For testing LMS courses we recommend uploading it into SCORM Cloud, as it's an industry standard for Learning Management Systems. You can sign up for a free account for testing purposes; it really comes in handy!
If you test your course in SCORM Cloud and find that it works well there, you can assume the issue is related to your LMS. However, if the video stops after 10 minutes in SCORM Cloud like it does in your LMS, we'll want to dig a little deeper, since there could be an issue with your file or with the browser you're using.
