I haven't had a chance to look at the video my client wants embedded, but they are asking me for a seekbar with time on it (kind of like what you get on YouTube) but without the ability to go forward in the video. You see what I think they want a lot on sales videos online. Is there a way to do this in Storyline?
If there isn't a way to do this - is there something at least similar that I can offer to my client?
You can choose not to show the SL seekbar on a slide by slide basis, and show the video's controls. This gives you the time and a seekbar. Placing a shape over the video will prevent the user from using the seekbar to jump ahead. Make sure the shape has a fill. If it has no fill, the user can still click on the underlying video object. Then set the shape fill to 100% transparent, so the user can see the video.
