Video trigger and video controls

Hi there,
I'm just working on a video and I need to pause the video at certain points and add activities. I can do this by using the shape in the timeline and pausing when the timeline starts at the shape, but this will not work when I activate 'Show Video Controls' - below video. It functions beautifully when I have no video control. I need to have the video controls active though, so viewers can skip or go back.
Can you help?

If you are adding the video from a file, the video will be synced with the slide timeline. You can then allow the user to use the standard player seekbar to move around and keep the items in sync.
