Hi, I have one issue regarding video in storyline 2, I have created one course in that I used same video for twenty times after publishing that course it will create twenty copies of that same video. why it creates twenty copies of the same video? Is there any technique to create single copy of that video after publish?
Hi there, Michael. Thanks for bringing this conversation back up. It is a bug for Storyline to include multiple instances of the same media (audio or video) in the published output. I'm going to document it for our team so we can begin to prioritize it.
The Media Library in Storyline 360 makes it easy to insert media once and reuse it throughout your course. In this case, however, it doesn't resolve the duplicate media problem in the published output. So both Storyline 3 and Storyline 360 are seeing the behavior.

I have noticed that this behavior seems to be related to the videos on the Master slide, and it also looks like it makes the amount of copies equal to the number of slides attached to that Master slide.
I am happy to share that we just released the newest version of Storyline 360 (Build 3.35.20995.0) this morning, which fixed the duplicated media issue!
The next step is to update Storyline 360 by heading to your Articulate 360 desktop app and clicking "Update" next to Storyline 360.

We're continuing to support Storyline 3 with bug fixes periodically. Our process for updating Storyline 3 is different than it is for Storyline 360, so they won't be in sync. We do occasionally release fixes between updates, but that can introduce risks, so we undertake that only in limited circumstances.

Correct - we've seen it with slide masters or any duplicated slide that has a video.
