Videos and Layer creation

Sep 14, 2017

Hey All,

I'm gonna venture a guess this is probably an easy fix but I can't seem to get it to work.

Working with a video that will pause at certain cue points, markers will appear, and then video will continue after learner interacts with the markers. My problem is that when I'm creating the necessary layers at each cue point I can't get the video to hold at the correct point in the Timeline. Thus, I can't place my markers correctly because it just shows the first frame of the video.

How do I have view the base layer (video) at the correct point when I'm working on an additional layer?

Thanks!

Hi Madison,

I think you already know the time when a layer should show up and pause the video. So you can use trigger to show a layer when the timeline reaches and insert the time.

You can use the playhead to preview your slide via the timeline (blue player shows you where you are) using the play/stop buttons in the lower left corner of the timeline.

Maybe this helped a bit. :)
