We have some videos that were created with Storyline v1.3 (build 1305.2012). We have some different videos that were originally created in v1.3 and then changes were made after having updated Storyline to v1.7 (build 1410.2419) or newer. Both sets of videos are loaded onto our web server. When originally loaded onto the server (1+ years ago), the videos played fine. When we try them now, the videos created/updated with v1.7+ are NOT working in Chrome. The videos created in v1.3 are working in Chrome. Both videos work fine in Firefox. We suspect some sort of update was done to the web servers the issue, but have no idea what change it could be. We've updated the MIME types (for FLV and MP4), but that hasn't made a difference. Any ideas what the issue might be?
Hi there, Scott! You'll want to make sure you have the latest versions of Storyline 1 and Storyline 2. I would start with republishing those courses on the updated versions and reloading them into your server.
Also, Chrome made some changes with the way it handles Flash Player, so I would recommend ensuring that you're including HTML5 as an option in your publishing format.
