When a course is created in Storyline and published as a SCORM 1.2 file and the zip file is imported into the LMS, ForceTen, all the funtionality is there except for the video. On the video page any text or directions still appear but there is no trace of the video. Any idea why this is happening and how to correct the problem?
We recently upgraded the LMS. Before the upgrade the video in the Storyline courses worked. In the upgraded environment the videos do not work.
I have the same issue but videos do not work on some computers while it works on others. I doubt this has anything to do with MIME type on the server because extensive tests were done on multiple computers in the office, viewing the same course, and from the same server.

Hi Ed,
I am facing the same issue, not able to run MP4 content in some computers. Were you able to find a solution to this problem. Please help. Thanks!
I have the same problem. It started just today. Video screen just sits there with no response to the play button, and doesn't play the video even if set to start automatically. I don't think it's the MIME issue for me, as I've been uploading videos with SCORM wrapper for a couple of years now.
I'd recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps to isolate the cause of the video issue you're experiencing:
Use different browsers to view your course
Temporarily turn off any browser extensions that you have installed
Test the course using incognito/private mode
Make sure that you have the latest versions of your browsers installed
If the issue persists, try testing your course in a different LMS to see if the issue is specific to your LMS. Here's a helpful article which explains how you can test your course in SCORM Cloud:
If your videos do not load when your course is uploaded to the SCORM Cloud environment, open a case with our support team here so we can take a closer look at what's happening.

Hello Ingrid, welcome to Heroes.
Take a look at this article, it should address the issue for you - http://www.articulate.com/support/storyline/mp4-videos-require-a-mime-type-on-your-server-to-play-properly
In the small chance that your videos are in FLV format, you may also need this article - http://www.articulate.com/support/storyline/flv-videos-require-a-mime-type-on-your-server-to-play-properly
I personally would request that both mime types be enabled on the server, just so you're covered either way.
hope this helps!
Hi Ingrid! Looks like Brian has taken care of you here, but I wanted to pop in and welcome you to E-Learning Heroes as well

Hi Ed! You can check out some of the other troubleshooting tips here to see if any of those work for you.
If not, can you give us some more information about what kind of videos, how you are adding them, what computers they are not working on, etc.
