I have published an elearning module on storyline and for some reason, the videos are neither showing, nor playing. I have checked the settings and have instructed the videos to play automatically with no luck. I have even inserted the videos as flvs and wmvs, and also imported from Articulate Video Encoder 09.
What am I doing wrong? Grateful for any suggestions.
Have a look at this article and see if you can identify any of the common reasons for videos not playing in your content. The article has a Presenter logo, but the same logic applies to Storyline. Let us know if that doesn't help resolve the issue. Thanks!
I have the latest Adobe Flash player, as recommended, but I still cannot see videos or simulations when publishing to my desktop. I can see them when previewing or publishing to the LMS. I could do this before without issue. Any other ideas?
If you view your published content locally, you may run into this problem. If you view published Storyline content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
Since the content is working on your LMS, it sounds like it may just be an issue with restrictions.
