view layer before advancing to next slide

Apr 17, 2017

Hi, all.

I need to modify an online module in this way. The user must view every layer before advancing to next slide. And, one layer has another layer deep.

Request rapid-fire response:

What's the approach that first comes to your mind that you suggest I take?

Thanks for quick responses.

I use custom means to advance the slide, and only make it available when all layers are viewed. I generally advance only from the base layer. I use variables to track which layers are viewed (if necessary), hide each layer when finished,  and expose the advance when appropriate.

You could also hide or disable (opinions on which is best are strong and varied) the NEXT button until all layers are viewed.

Thanks Walt! I'll try!
